·         Cleaning and disinfecting have no difference

Cleaning refers to clearing out dust, dirt, and grease while disinfecting refers to killing germs, bacteria, and viruses. Both of them uses different Household Cleaning and disinfecting products. Like, cleaning can easily be done using, water and soap. Whereas, disinfecting uses chemical products to kill the bacteria.



·         Disinfectant works instantly

People tend to only swipe up the surface using disinfectants. Remember it is not going to kill the germs. Disinfectant has their action time mentioned on their description. It will need to leave the disinfectant on the surface at least for the directed time.

·         Disinfecting is better than cleaning

Disinfection requires first cleaning. Dust particles may react with disinfectants making them unable to work effectively. That’s why make sure to clean the surroundings thoroughly before disinfecting.

·         Soap and water don’t kill coronavirus

Using soap, All Purpose Sanitizer and water to kill the Coronavirus is an effective method. Soap has the ability to kill bacteria and even coronavirus. Use any regular soap and hot water to kill the germs.

·         Only high-touch surfaces are enough to disinfect

It is true but only on a daily basis. High touched areas like doorknobs, light switches, refrigerator handles, cabinet handles and railing should be disinfected daily. However, consider cleaning the whole at least once a week for offices and ones in a fortnight for the house.

·         Only commercial disinfectant is effective against Covid-19.

All-Purpose Sanitizer, Bleach and rubbing alcohol can also be used to disinfect nonporous home surfaces. Use a diluted bleach solution or a quite concentrated rubbing alcohol solution to the surfaces, wait for a few minutes and then rinse it off.

·         It is important to bleach all your laundry

Detergents and soaps themselves work as a disinfectant to kill the germs. Adding Household Cleaning and disinfecting Products from outside will only damage clothes.
